hardware raid -SUSE install how to

I am trying to install SUSE 8.2 on a netfinity7600 machine. Using servraid manager support cd , i configured the raid array. But in the scsi disk utility i am not able to see any entries for the hard drives...only thing that shows up is AIC 7896, which is my scsi adapter , on scsi id #7. All the others says "no devices".......I am entirely new to RAID concept....Any help is appreciated....
