Unhappy Hardware Raid on Dell370 , looking for the driver

Hi all,

I am about to setup a RHEL system on a dell370 workstation. But DELL does not supply the RAID Controller driver for linux. The chipset of the RAID Controller should be "Intel(R) 82801FR SATA RAID Controller".
I've googled quite a long time for the driver but found nothing. Could anyone give me a hand?
Thanks!

(It's an ICH6R). Depends. RHEL with 2.4 series kernel or 2.6? Long story short, your rpm's for 2.6 are in: http://people.redhat.com/~heinzm/sw/dmraid/rpm/ but a statically linked testing version is on: http://people.redhat.com/~heinzm/sw/...12-pre1.static
Patches for 2.4 kernels are in the old project site: http://iswraid.sourceforge.net/ and, of course, the sources: http://people.redhat.com/~heinzm/sw/dmraid/src/
Question: it is an on-board raid device? does your lspci -v looks like this?:
Quote:
00:1f.2 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801FR/FRW (ICH6R/ICH6RW) SATA Controller (rev 03) (prog-if 80 [Master])
Or it is another "rev"?.
