Hardware ATA RAID Controller

I have a Dell 600SC computer that was just donated to my company. I am trying to install fedora 6 or ubuntu 6.06. I am just no getting anywhere. I have tried search here and the net and haven't found much. I would like to keep the hardware RAID 5 if I can. Please help.

Here are the specs.
-Dell PowerEdge 600SC rev. 09
-Intel P4 2.4 GHz 533Mhz 512KB
-1 GB ECC DDR
-LSI Logic CERC ATA/100 v 1.03
-3x Seagate ST380011 r3.16 RAID 5

FWIW:

I had a similar server 'donated' to my department - a Dell PowerEdge 2400.

Fedora 6 refused to recognize the RAID-5 in it, but Fedora 5 was happy to work with it "out of the box"... I'm running FC5 on it for now...

Is there any way to drivers for this card? I check the LSI Logic website and the dell website. Both were of no help.

LSI MegaRAID is in Linux kernel.

Then why do I get the following error message? This is using the "megaraid_mbox"

"No hard drives have been found. You probably need to manually choose device drivers for the installation to succeed. Would you like to select drivers now?"

There are 5 LSI MegaRAID drivers in kernel config. Pick the correct one.

I'm actually using the i2c drivers for the RAID in the PowerEdge 2400... Maybe they will work in a PowerEdge 600SC too?
