Hard Drive switch

i have a harddrive in a current computer. this one is a 60gb. i have another from a different computer whitch is a 120gb. they both use Windows XP and are same brand. i also belive they are the same speed. i was wondering id i could remove my current 60gb and replace it with the 120. is it as easy as that?

yes, it should be as simple as that. Windows will most likely not like the switch however because of all the hardware changes, you may have to call Microsoft's 800 number and re-register.

so it would be wise to leave out some of the additional harware such as wireless and graphics card to help it along with the hardware switch. thanks for help so far!

P.S. on the 60gb i get alot of errors and the Blue screen of death. would a registry cleaner/fixer do the job?

It seems more likely it is missing some drivers which are needed because of the hardware change. Editing the registry is unlikely to work. Maybe trying to do a repair from the cd will help but I'm not sure, to be honest.
