hard disk damaged

I have two hard disks in my system and I usually choose from which one to boot from BIOS. Now I transported my system over a pretty long distance and my primary master disk(IDE0), where windows is doesn't boot anymore. When I try to boot from the other disk (where I have Susse Linux installed) I get a message saying that fsck failed for at least one filesystem, that is the filesystem from the hard disk where windows is in my opinion. Then it says I should enter the root password for entering maintenance mode and to fix that filesystem problem manually.Does anyone know how I can fix the problem manually in order to boot normally in Linux again ? (this assumes the disk where linux is installed didn'tsuffer any damage )

You can try editing the line in /etc/fstab to skip fsck, or you can simply erase it completly.

You can try to format it too if you'd like, but you'd lose all data on that partition.
