Hang at Finding Module Dependencies
 

My Redhat 9 hangs at Finding Module Dependencies during boot up. Does any one have any suggestion on how to resolve this problem? I suspect it has something to do with the on-board Promise RAID controller (PDC20276) Linux driver on the MSI motherboard I downloaded. However, it was working fine after I first installed it with the Redhat CD-ROM. The same problem also occured on another Tyan m/B with a Highpoint 372 RAID controller. However, my 3rd Linux machine using straight IDE HD never has this problem.
