Question Good wifi dongles that are plug and play with ubuntu, any reccomendations?


also please dont tell me not to use wifi usb dongles Its my choice and i know what im doing.

Not too sure. I've been experimenting with wifi hardware and Ubuntu recently. Avoid Broadcom. D-link seems to be good though. The airpro 360 or whatever it is plug & played perfectly. (this was pcmcia though).

okay I saw some half decent dlink ones for $40 (canadian) sounds great.

I have a nice 802.11g one by Hawking that uses the zd1211 chip. That driver is included with the kernel since around 2.6.17.
