Question Good video capture card for Linux? (VHS->digital)

I am planning to run Suse 9.0 and am wondering if anybody out there knows of any good video capture card solutions (converting VHS to digital) that work under this distro. A good pro card would do nicely and price is not too much of an issue. Thanks!

Should help

In the second link, scan the 'Compatibility' section. About 7-8 have Linux listed.

I am in the same position as Multra.

Does anyone have a favorite card? Why? I would love to setup a PC in my living room using MythTV but have no idea which is the best card to choose.

Thanks for the links! The Canopus ADVC-100 is looking good, and it's in my price range. Is anyone here using this card? It looks like it's been getting some good user reviews. It also comes with a DV converter which is what I'm also looking for so I can start putting my VHS on DVDs.

Canopus ADVC-100 may not work in LINUX so you may have to use VMware to get all the features that Canopus ADVC-100 has.

pandasuit, any capture card that Video 4 Linux supports.
