good pci modem and agp video card with tv?

HEY! can anyone give me a brand and model of a good pci modem that will work well under suse 8?

how about a good accelerated video card with tv tuner and video out that works well with suse 8 and kde?

thanks for the advice in advance.

There are no good pci modems, however, there are pages here and here with pci modem info. Nvidia video cards work well under linux as long as you have the nvidia linux driver installed, (hint 1 - use the tarballs), (hint 2 - read the readme first).

USR 5610 / nvidia tv card?

hey thanx for the information! i saw on the suse site that the USR/3com 5610 pci modem was fully supported so i'll try that one.

as to the nvidia card, is there one with tv tuner and video out?

There is none with a tv-tuner, but there's one with TV-in and as well TV-out - GeForce4 Ti4600 VisionTek's Xtasy - the price tag is the way too much (almost 400 bucks), TV-tuner cards are from ATI, but I don't know how they handle 3D though
