good or not

Is this a good notebook for a PPC version of Linux. I don't need it to be that fast, but I'm getting to that stage where I should have a laptop because of all the stuff I need to do. I might keep the Mac OS X on there if I can find a terminal. Someone told me there was one for Mac OS X. How good is that for occasional use and stuff on the road?

Hello,
Doesn't look bad, I'd keep OSX on it too, if I got it.

It's a little on the goofy side in terms of looks, but it should do the trick.
MaxOSX has a terminal window, I believe other unix terminal programs should work too, you'll just need to install them.

alright, so I shouldn't run Linux on it? Why should I keep the Mac OS X on it (I've never used Mac and I like the looks but I don't know how it goes in terms of performance...I just need a Unix based Os like A linux and I know Mac is a Unix...never going back to Windows again)?
