Good 56k USB Modem

I know that serial modems are kinda guaranteed to work in Linux, but a USB modem would be more convienient for me. Are there any USB modems which you found to work well? How should I configure a USB modem? I'm looking at the Zoom 3090. Is that a good one?

This site should help

http://www.linux-usb.org/

One thing to keep in mind is that the Linux kernel 2.6 will have much more USB support. It's not stable enough to recommend now. But should be available soon..
