gnome freeze
my Daewoo PC (i bet you never heard it before) configured 3 OS win98, RH 9.0 and Trustix 2.2 but i have some problem when i go to gnome windows on RH 9.0 after 5 - 10 minute is freeze suddenly, don't no know how

i try CTRL + ALT + F1 ... Fn is not succeed, touch anything button on keyboard is not work also clicked right and left mouse but is change on console not problem at all

all i can do just push the reset button !

so here's my PC spec

Celeron 300 MHz
96 MB Ram
dual HDD 4.3 GB and 3.2 GB

before i move to this daewoo PC i used IBM GL300 (200 MHz) with the same configuration but under this machine i don't have many problems

is any relation about hardware failure - or something conflict with each hardware ? this morning i reinstall redhat 9.0 (K12LTSP 3.1.1 - i used this, but i think is based on RH 9) but the problem is still the same

thanks for your concerned

re:gnome freeze
Gnome takes forever to load with 96M RAM. There's 2 things you need---more ram and a faster processor. I started with a 400 cpu with 64M RAM, and it worked---only very slow. I put more ram on, now at 544M, and it works great. Unfortunately, I can't think of any other way to stop the gnome freeze. The extra RAM cost me around $80 American. Good luck!
