Thanks for the help Danny. It no longer errors out. What of the floppy and cdrom?

How very strange. Now, as it is loading my regular user, it freezes at, "Initiating peripherals." Luckily, after I had restarted it, I could load user "root", then 'su', and then 'kmail' to get into my regular user. Do you know what I can do to fix it?
