Getting Asus AC56 to work with Arch

(Closed off-found solution) Has anyone had any success getting Asus AC56 wireless adaptor working with Arch? I have been able to get it to work successfully on a Arch derivative Endeavour using the following:

sudo pacman -S linux-headers
sudo pamac build rtl88xxau-aircrack-dkms-git

Yet for some reason with Arch it installs ok but does not work. Perhaps there's something I have missed or overlooked? I'm new to Arch so I would not be surprised.

Thanks in advance for any advice or insights.

Actually I left the headers as is and reinstalled the driver. For some reason is worked this time!

If there had been additional insights I would always post them for others.
