Hi Guys.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 on Acer Aspire 5536.
Used efax-gtk debian unstable package v3.2.3 to send a .ps file. Even by running software with root privileges the output is:

Decided to first get ride of input output error. using
sudo wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf command:
Code:
Editing `/etc/wvdial.conf'.
Scanning your serial ports for a modem.
Modem Port Scan<*1>: S0 S1 S2 S3
Sorry, no modem was detected! Is it in use by another program?
Did you configure it properly with setserial?
Please read the FAQ at http://open.nit.ca/wiki/?WvDial
If you still have problems, send mail to <wvdial-list@lists.nit.ca>.
Using
setserial command returned a huge syntax help text.
Modem is recognized under windows and it is
HDA CX11270 Softmodem.
How can I get it to work?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
