Getting a touchscreen to work with Debian

Hello, I'm trying to install Debian Squeese on an Ekoore Python S. (x86 tablet).

It runs very well, but the touchscreen doesn't work correctly. Whenever I touch the screen, the mouse jumps to the top left corner of the screen and left-clicks. Is there a way to make it work correctly?

I'm still trying to find out the exact kind of the touchscreen, but the manufacturer hasn't answered yet. Is there some way to find it out myself?

I'll have a look at those google suggestions. In the meantime, Ekoore still hasn't answered. However, xinput-calibrator told me I was using an ILITEK ILITEK Multi-Touch. (Not shure if this output is reliable, and the touchscreen doesn't work after calibrating.)
