Gentoo setting up wifi
 

I have a 2wire pcmcia card. I have emerged the Orinoco drivers.

How do I go about setting this up ? Thanks.

well, emerge wireless-tools, then find out which device is wireless, most likely eth1, then set your options in /etc/conf.d/net, then symlink /etc/init.d/net.eth0 to /etc/init.d/net.eth1, then rc-update add net.eth1 default

Once I get a hold of a friend's credit card, or my own credit / debit card I will Affero you.

By any chance do you think I could get 3D accel going with a 9800xt ?

I typed iwconfig
 

and it only showed eth0
