Generic SoftK56 (Conexant) wont work on SUSE 10


Hi, I cant make my modem work on SUSE 10 platform.
I do every settings it takes, but my system replys me that cant open modem....

Help!

SOFT...K56. It is a winmodem then right? That means driver and software based...not hardware. Which means... it is a load of fun to do in linux. Check around for posts about getting software modems installed, there should be plenty of help and tips around.

Ok. Thanks. I found the drivers for modem, and ready to install them.
