GeForce4MX and acceleration


hello,
i have rh9.0 and i dont know how to use hw acceleration (i want to play TuxRacer :-)). i have GF4MX440.

You need nvidia's newest update. I had problems with RH's updated kernel, 2.4.20-20.9. I had to reinstall to the box version kernel, 2.4.20.6. You need to ensure you have binutils and gcc from the Development Tools package.
Go to Nvidia's website - support-drivers-linux&freeBSD drivers. Be sure to read the Read Me in its entirity. Front to back. Take a few days if you have to. It will save you days of frustration and headache.
Also, do a search on this site for nvidia
