geforce2 problems under redhat 8

Im a newbie to linux and im having trouble with my graphics card, its an elsa gladiac geforce2 trying to run on linux redhat 8. Ive read the manual and it still doesnt work, i have edited the X11 conf file but with no prevail.
any help would be appreciated thx
if anyone needs additional info just ask

GF2 = nVidia right? Get their new, easy to use, all in one, linux driver

There was a NVchooser.sh to determine which ones to get, but now it seems you only need one. Be sure to read the README first!
