Gamepad calibration

Hello !

I just enable joystick support to my Slackware 9.0 system, in order to use it as 'remote-control' for xmms.

The devise in question is an Logitech Wingman 'precision' connected thru the gameport on my audigy soundcard.

the module I have enabled is :

/sbin/modprobe emu10k1
/sbin/modprobe joydev
/sbin/modprobe emu10k1-gp
/sbin/modprobe analog

Now: It seems to work exept for one thing . .

When using 'directionals' to adjust the sound volume, the volume
start to move up & down quite randomly ( look no hands ! ).
In Windoze you have this function to calibrate the gamepad/joystick.

Questions:

#1 Is there a 'calibration-tool for this in Linux.
#2 Have I choosed the right modules ? it seems to work tough.

Happy for help !
