galaxy tv card bt878
i hve installed various versions of linux with this card and while i can get a fantastic picture, i cannot get any sound at all.
i have tried various tv progs ..xawtv and so on.
i have tried the command line params on the xawtv to set the audio device.nothing seems to work.
sound works fine for everything else.
the bt878 audio device is recognised by harddrake.
any ideas anyone?

Usually with these things you have to put a jumper cable from sound-out on the TV card to line-in on your sound card, as the TV card generates analog sound.
Although someone here a few days ago claimed there was no sound-out on their TV card and no cable. Sound worked in Windows but not Linux. Have you tried running it on Windows?
