Unhappy GA-7VAXP Ultra problems


Hi. This is my first time in any forums, so soory if i am makong some mistakes.
Well, i have an Athlon 2 giga , 512 megaram and i am using red-hat 8.0.
I can not make my Gigabyte GA-7VAXP ultra on-board audio working.
Probably because i am not an expert linux user.
Can anybody help me?

more than likely.............

i have a ga-7vax and red hat 9 set up the sound out of the box. i would install red hat 9 and see what happens, alternatly,

check and see if its enabled in the bios it may not be lol
