Future Power monitor crashed

I bought Future Power monitor like 8 months ago (19 inch flat monitor). I use the monitror with Red HAT 8.0 and 9. Sometimes when I was shutdown computer I saw the message (OUT OF RANGE). I was working on my computer when the power went off (on the famous BLACKOUT). Two days ago I was working and the monitor died.

Not sure what cause the problem, Linux or the Blackout or the Monitor which I believe is not a good quality.

P.S When monitor crashed, I switched my computer to my old monitor, it was not wrking, X -Window was crashing every time. My computer has Nvidia 4 video card.

Thanks

Did you try your Future Power monitor on another computer? This would narrow down the cause somewhat, because it is possible that your monitor is OK, and your problem lies somewhere else, perhaps in the video card, motherboard, power supply, etc. All these should be suspected of causing the problem until they are positively cleared, as they are just the sort of item that would be affected by power surges.

Problem was in the monitor. I connected my computer to new monitor and it worked. I brought my computer where I bought it and they also told me that the problem definetely in the monitor.
