I have found that my new printer (which is an Epson Stylus Photo R220) is mostly supported by Linux. It will run with standard CUPS drivers and Gutenburg. I bought it for the function of printing CDs. It comes with propritory software called Epson Print CD and uses a special tray to acomplish printing on printable CDs. This is the functionality I would like to have under Linux. I am running SuSE 10 and would appreciate any experience anyone has had trying to get this to work.
I don't have any personal experience with this printer but if you click on the HCL link at the top of this page and go to the printer section, I saw a few reviews there for this printer.
