full-duplex problem.

Hello.
I tried to use gnomemeeting in FC5 to make a PC2PC over IP call to my friend ( on LAN) but he cannot to hear me. I found that is full-duplex problem. I have Intel soundcard AC97 i810 ( onboard card) and I use ALSA. I've already chosen full-duplex option in "Sound System" (KDE) but problem still remains, only me who hear sound. I've also tested and found out that the soundcard supports full-duplex. I can hear my own voice throught mic but my friend cannot. So what's problem and what should I do? Plz help me out.

Thank you.

Sorry for my poor English. Dont blame me :D

Disable arts. Use audacity to record from mic. While it is recording play a sound file. Type 'alsamixer -V all' to set the capture volume and other controls. It should duplex with out any problems.

In Gnomemeeting, you need to specify what dsp device is your sound card. It might be using your video capture card or web cam.
