fstab with sda1

What do I put in my fstab and mtab files to mount my USB device? Fdisk reads it as sda1, but it won't mount it.

I had to add the following to my /etc/fstab:

/dev/sda1 /mnt/usb auto noauto,users,rw 0 0

Make sure /mnt/usb exists and has the correct permissions.
