Freecom USB Hard drive sometimes works on Suse 10
 
I got a Freecom 80GB Classic Hard Drive that runs through USB2, when I plug it into my laptop before it is turned on it usually works but when I look in /etc/fstab there is no entry for the device.

If I plug the hard drive in when the lapton is on then the hard drive spins up several times then turns off as if the computer is off

Im using Suse 10.0 (kernel 2.6.13-15.7-default)
