Formated hard drive


With an mistake I formated the har drive running linux ext3, are the some good software that can recover the deleted files.

Yes---
First, do not do ANYTHING to that disk until you have a plan. The files are recoverable only if you don't start writing anything else to the disk.
You can search on this forum for file recovery utilities--and also on Google. Using such utilities will require some patience---depending on your experience level and time budget, you might be better off using a professional service.
Another precaution would be to clone the drive before doing anything---especially if you decide to send it somewhere.
