Format disk

I got one hard disk from a friend. There were two partitions made on it. two ntfs partitions. Than I opened gparted and formated the disk to ext3. Now when booting ( I have this disk in fstab) there is a notice that disk is broken

I run e2fcsk -f <device> and there is 92 something broken. How can I fix this part of disk. I think that this 92 something were right betwen two partitions before.

Please help how to format disk in linux. I have tried with fdisk and cfdisk but they don't format disk. They just put new partitions on it.

mke2fs /dev/hd* formats as ext2, mke2fs -j /dev/hd* formats as ext3, mkreiserfs /dev/hd* formats as Reiser, mkfs.xfs /dev/hd* formats as XFS, and mkfs.jfs /dev/hd* formats as JFS. Of course, replace the * with the partition.
