Floppy I/O Error

Hi there,

I'm using Ubuntu 5.04 hoary hedgehog, and I'm trying to use a floppy drive, but I keep getting I/O errors when I move files to the disk.

It's not the disk because the disk works perfectly elsewhere.

It's not the drive itself because it works fine in Windows (the only thing that does, lol)

Any ideas?
