To answer your questions:
well first things first...........is there a listing in /etc/fstab for your floppy??
=No, there isn't a listing in my /etc/fstab. Do I need to add a listing?
2) is there a mount point?? example........
/mnt/floppy.....
=No, there is nothing listed in /mnt
3) you don't really mount the floppy at all, you mount the filesystem that is on the floppy disk........
SO, is support for your floppy enable in your current running kernel??
=Yes, I have the latest kernel version
Now to add something. I am able to access the files using the mount -t vfat blah blah blah command. I created a /Floppy folder which I "mount". However, what I want Linux to do is once it recognizes the floppy drive during boot up to create an icon and such in My Computer like it did for my CR-RW/DVD-Rom drive and hard drive, and like it does when I hook my USB memory stick up. Thanks again for the help!
