Floppy Automount Kubuntu
 

Hi,
On a fresh install of Kubuntu 6.06 I am unable to auto mount fd0. Also tried Kubuntu & Ubuntu 7.04 neither would work beyond the initial splash screen. 2 wasted CDs.

I made an icon link on the Desk top it will open in a window but I can not get the files moved to OO.o / AbiWord / KWord. When I try to open from a word processor nothing works.

I've tried several fixes from the net with no luck, eg. edit /etc/fstab / mkdev / .

Fixin to reload Slackware

Any Ideas?
