Firewire under SUSE 9.1 Personal
 

Hi,

can anyone give me any pointers in how to get a firewire drive to work under SUSE 9.1?

I have found an article on the SUSE site but it pertains to version 7.3 so did not want to do it in case it is not valid for my version.

I plugged the drive in the port and I can see it but when I try to access it I get a no media found error.

If I reboot and leave the drive connected it no longer appears? It only seems to see it if I hot plug it?
