finding the about the duplex
 
I tried the command:
dmesg|grep -i duplex but it showed me nothing. Any body have any idea?

I have no idea why you think that this should show anything, nor what you were hoping it would show. Coincidentally, I don't know what you were hoping to find out, so a few clues would be appreciated.

Are you interested in ethernet/rs-232/some other serial connection? Why, in particular, do you think that the word 'duplex' is going to be the key?
