Question Fglrx console=>X changing problem and fglrx resume

Hi

I have a very annoying problem with my fglrx driver. When I change back from console to X , the colours on my display are not equivalent to an original "colormap". Additionally when I run a gnome-terminal on top of my desktop, the screen appears quite messy after changing back to X.

The second problem is that i can't resume correctly my video card after suspending to disk . I use swsusp2 and after resuming the computer to text console I can't return back to X, because the computer hangs .

I use Slackware 10.0 with 2.4.26 kernel . Please don't hesitate to ask for more informations about my system if you are going to help me.

Thanks in advance

I have the same issue. I'm using kernel 2.6.8.1 (w/ swsuspend 2.0.0.105), x.org 6.7, and fglrx 3.12.0. I can tolerate the garbled display when switching back and forth to a console because it goes away after moving a window around. But the system hanging for an X resume isn't a good thing.

I've given up for now and am going to wait on the next fglrx drivers. I'm still using the current fglrx drivers, but am turning off the 3-D so that resume and cosole switching works. I think there are a variety of ways to do it, but I am putting this in the fglrx driver section of XF86Config to do it:

Option "no_dri" "yes"
