tks for reply.....slack 12.1 and 12.2 are full of errors for me.....i like slack 13,my pc is fast,no errors and video is the only problem(i try before pclinuxos,ubuntu,mandriva,suse,sabayon,elive,freebsd..and more..i like slack13..really must be a solution....i read all posts....i understand is posible to install ati 9.3 on 2.6.29.x-kernel...so all i need is step by step instructions for this patch....where to put patch files and some comands(im a real noob)...someone whit slack13 said in this threat it works like a charm...maybe will tell how he did...i wanna try....no metter if dont work and i will reinstall slack after...
or maybe someone will give some tips how to configure the opensource drivers for hardware acceleration...i dont know...must be a solution...

Even if it is possible to install catalyst 9.3 on a 2.6.29.x kernel, you still need to downgrade your Xorg installation, as well, which is why it's simpler to use an older version of Slackware. I doubt anyone will walk you through installing an older version of Xorg and, even if they did, there's a pretty good chance it still wouldn't work properly.
