thanks you,
i tried the binaries version of XFree86 4.4.0 and :
- Font trouble fixed.
- DRM module do not want to load anymore.
So i tried lot's of installation "method", without any sucess

edit : ho i forgot, i find the "lite-source" of the CLEXF40038 modules, but i didn't build it with sucess. Anyway i think this version till have the "black LCD" bug.

For now i m running a Fresh RH9, updated with apt-get.
it looks like the build has been made with sucess.
the log is about 6mb u can download it here .
While the build i got lot's of warning in the shell, here some of these :

Normally it should work, but Xfree86 still keep crashing when i run "glxinfo".
DRM DRI load perfectly in the log...
on his last post _toote_ say that the trouble is probably related to the LibGL.
