First off I have Fedora Core 5 w/ KDE all up to date.

My first question, I have an HDA Digital XMystique 7.1 sound card. I'm able to get the analog out to work but I'm unable to get the optical out to work.



My 2nd issue. I have a logitech MX518 mouse. I found how to get my extra buttons to work to go forward and back in firefox however there are still some things that I am unable to find how to get it to work as it does in windows. Some of these things may not be possible but I'm trying to get it as close as I can.

How can I get the forward and back side buttons to do the same with Konqueror for when I'm browsing files as Firefox does now.

Right now the center mouse button goes to the first website searched for whatevers in my clipboard. This is rather annoying, is ther a way to have it come up with the drag/scroll type thing that windows does, also to have it close tabs as well when they can clicked in firefox.
