Fedora core 4 HPLaserJet 1100 prints a bunch of junk

i just installed fedora core 4...i am a newbie and this is the first time that i have installed fedora. The program that fedora has for printing has my driver...but it won't print right. I tell it to print a test page and all i get is a bunch of junk on the top of the page... please help... i am new to linux and i can't seam to get this to work.

My Ouija board is acting up and I cannot tell how you have your printer set up. Could you supply some details?

Network? Parallel port? IPP? USB? Unplugged? Still in the box?

In the meantime, delete your current definition and try reinstalling it. If that fails, post exactly which choices you selected to configure it.

Remember, my Ouija board is off-line tonight and I cannot divine any information unless you post it in this forum.
