fedora core 2 + slmodem
 

I can play sounds while I'm using the modem in Fedora Core 2.

My modem's driver is slmodem-2.9.7, it works fine, but when I try to play any sound the system crashes really bad, and I have to reboot.

Sound works fine while not using the modem.

I tried lots of diferent things, but nothing works. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Did someone have success in using this driver, without this problem, in FC2 or in any other distro based in kernel 2.6 and ALSA? Please post here the procedures.
