Fedora Core 2+Nvidia drivers!Help need openGL

Hi there! I was using fedora core 1 for past 6 months and everything worked fine. Now Fedora Core 2 is released so I download it and installed it, but I cant get nvidia drivers to work. After I modified xorg.config file and restarted, X wont start. Screen just goes black. I have been searching for a solution and I saw something about 4Kstacks or something that causes the problem. Is there anyone who solved the problem with Nvidia drivers without needing to recompile the kernel or installing new one. I am not so good at linux yet but Iam trying. Since I am Enemy territory junkie and have a clan match tomorow I really need some help.
Thanx a lot!!

did any one rply to this post? Well the fix isn't that bad. I ran into that same problem. The thing is you have to wait for nvidia or recompile your kernel. I'm working on it right now so when I'm done I'll tell you how to re compile.

let's see. I downloaded the kernel and the driver installed it. it all worked but geuss what? the kernel sucks. I can't compile games for it to work i don't even know if the drivers have improments because no 3d acelerated or open gl game works. It's clear to me now. Fedora core 2 sucks monkey balls, and it is no way worth downloading, installing, looking at, thinking about, smelling, or whatever else you can do with a linu distro. The point i'm making here is that it was and is, in no way shape or form ready to be a final version. I just hope for now that fedora core 3 will not suck monkey balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also note the damn kernel dose not support the ntfs file system. I have the driver but nooo. If any one out there actualy reads this post and is thinking about installing Fedora core 2 don't do it. It's not worth it. As for me, I'm thinking about reverting to fedora core 1 or ding or whateva dosen't envole fedora core 2.
