Quick questions for those more educated in linux than I...

I have a new MSI k8 Neo Platinum motherboard with the built in Gigabit ethernet port matched with a socket 754 Athlon 64 3200+, and I recently installed Fedora Core 2 64bit. My problem is that it doesn't pick up the ethernet card, which I assume is because we are dealing with relatively new hardware here.

I tried a few of the "default" drivers to get ethernet working but nothing seemed to work, I also searched around but haven't been able to find much information on this issue; has anyone in here run into the same problem or know of a fix?

I did some more reading on this issue and believe the issue to be that the nForce 3 25o chipset is not supported at this stage of the game? Can someone confirm this for me?
