Fedora 8 Freezes - gconfd


Fedora freezes totally at random. Screen picture freezes and mouse and keyboard non responsive.

Same behavior on same no name workstation computer one two differrent installs and freezes on both KDE and Gnome. Without or without compiz.

Linux version 2.6.23.1-49.fc8
Intel P4
ATI Radeon
Memory: 1030668k/1048512k available (2184k kernel code, 17048k reserved, 1116k data, 280k init, 131008k highmem)


Below at Nov 21 13:53:37 you see the time it crashed. gconf was the last log post.

happened again

It just did it again whilst writing this post. Luckily Firefox was a able to restore my session to post the first thread.
