Fedora 3 - Won't boot
Hi,
This one's got me completely baffled.
I rebooted my server, and now it won't boot.
It recognises Fedora. Starts to boot up, comes up with the bit about pressing 'I' for interactive mode, moves onto 'udev' where it begins searching for hardware... Here it finds Storage Network etc. but when it gets to Audio it all goes wrong.
Sometimes it will get past the audio check after about 10 seconds, and the green OK will appear. And other times it will just stop at audio, but either way it never gets any further than that.
I installed a new graphics card a week ago, but it has booted several times since then.
I haven't made any serious changes for a while.
Anyone got any suggestions??
Thanks for reading.

If its a server then remove(or disable in BIOS) the audio card and see if thats whats causing the problem.
Have you done any updates recently?

Yeah, just remove any new hardware when you run into errors after never have had experienced errors in the past. That is where I would have started too.

Mike, the audio card isn't new.
It's onboard and has never been a problem, it used to work!
Do you reckon updating the drivers might stop it from happening?
I said i recently installed an AGP graphics card...
But I don't see how that can be linked to a failing sound device.
