Fedora 3 unable to detect sound card for Intel D915GVWB board

Hi,
I'm using Fedora 3 on an Intel 915G chipset based motherboard (D915GVWB).
The only problem i'm having is that Fedora is unable to detect/recognize the sound card.

the /sbin/lspci out is :
Code:

I tried installing Alsa 1.0.9 by downloading the rpms from ATrpms for Fedora 3, but that didnt work either.

Ok,
I finally got fedora to detect the sound card, by compiling the ALSA driver from source.
I have turned up the volume for the Headphones and mic by running alsamixer and also 'un'-muted everything from the Volume Control, but am still unable to get any sound.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I dont know about DMA, but i've got almost everything working on Fedora now.
My hard disk is one of the newer SATA kind, which is detected as an SCSI i think.
