Dude 1st get kernel-modules alsa rpm for ur Kernel version- find it by uname -r.
then goto atrpms.net or rpms.livna.org or any get all alsa rpms -alsa driver,alsa-lib,alsa-utils,libasound etc.dont forget this kernel-modules alsa rpm.after installed all,try in command line:#alsaconf it will configure the card.oh please unmute the volume control also.

how to run

how do you run the updates for the alsa drivers when I get them? I already updated the Kernel to latest.

If u want to get audio u get a kernel version as same as the alsa-kernel-module version.for u may be a 2.6.10.xyz kernel and
kernel-module-alsa-2.6.10.xyz.
otherwise anytime u can recompile the kernel for audio support
updating alsa like rpm -Uvh package.rpm
