Fedora 2 sound card configuration help

I upgraded my redhat to Fedora 2 core, but my sound card didnot work after that.

I used sound card detection, my card model is :
Intel, 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio.
Module: snd-intel8x0

I was also trying to install ALSA to Fedora 2, but I cannot succeed. Are they not compatible ?

[root@hong alsa-driver-1.0.6a]# modprobe snd-intel8x0
WARNING: Error inserting snd_seq_device (/lib/modules/2.6.8-1.521/kernel/sound/acore/seq/snd-seq-device.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
WARNING: Error inserting snd_rawmidi (/lib/modules/2.6.8-1.521/kernel/sound/acore/snd-rawmidi.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
WARNING: Error inserting snd_mpu401_uart (/lib/modules/2.6.8-1.521/kernel/sound/drivers/mpu401/snd-mpu401-uart.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
WARNING: Error inserting snd_ac97_codec (/lib/modules/2.6.8-1.521/kernel/sound/pci/ac97/snd-ac97-codec.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
FATAL: Error inserting snd_intel8x0 (/lib/modules/2.6.8-1.521/kernel/sound/pci/snd-intel8x0.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg

Just a beginner in linux, please help me fix this problem. Thanks a lot.

Hong
