Fedora Network Problems need HELP!

I'm using fedora v 1. I dont' know to much, I was wandering if anyone could help me with my network problem. I have an onboard network card which fedora detects in x win. But I still can't connect to the internet. I have done nothing more than install the OS and plug the blue LAN cable in.

Hi are you connecting with your network card to a DSL modem.? and then to the internet.?

If so put ppp0 in the space for nickname, it seems to be a small bug, just set up the rest of the xDSL as you would.

Scott.
