Question FC4 Installation on ACER with Intel Centrino Duo

Has anybody successfully install Fedora Core 4 on Acer Laptop with Intel Centrino Duo? I had tried to install but after finishing installation, rebooting is not successful. It stuck on "booting linux kernel .. blah blah blah.."

If that's a dual-processor system ("Centrino Duo"), have you got a kernel that can run more than 1 processor simultaneously? I'm not quite sure if a 1-processor-kernel (where SMP is disabled) can run on 2-processor environment, but you could try using an SMP-kernel instead, if you already haven't (I've got no idea if FC4 uses SMP-kernel by default in your case).

Have you tried Google?
